HPZ’s world-class Crusher Backing is produced in Canada by a Canadian-owned firm using domestic and imported ingredients.
It is a proprietary mix of chemicals (e.g., epoxy resins, wetting agents, stabilizers, accelerators, and flexibilizers) and limestone (foundation).
The formulation we offer today has been refined over six decades of experience. It has a reputation for consistent quality and quick “hard to touch” hardening.
The best backing compound is both high-impact and has good compressive strength. Usually, there is a trade-off. Regular backing compound has good compressive strength whereas a high-impact backing will often have less compressive strength. HPZ Crusher Backing is formulated to have the impact properties of high-impact backing compound while maintaining the compressive strength of regular backing compound.
To lock the bronze bushings on rock crushers, dangerous and costly molten metal can be completely eliminated from crusher maintenance procedures by using HPZ Locking Compound. Melting and pouring equipment and special protective gear is also eliminated.
